English Translation

In our search for freedom we have hurt
And we have sinned
My young and clumsy friends
Whom I should love

Should children who have only grown older
Still be called adults?
We're still unable to live life well

We're free to go anywhere we want
We're free to do anything we want
What on earth have I been fighting and for how long?

In this place
Where even breathing is constrained

We've learned to laugh
Even though there's nothing fun about it
Have I changed?

We're free to go anywhere we want
We're free to do anything we want
Surely the fight for freedom will continue

We're free to go anywhere we want
We're free to do anything we want
Surely the fight for freedom will continue

My eyes overflowed with tears
At the warmth of a person I passed by
It might be that maybe
It was you or him or that girl

-Heartplace, Ayumi Hamasaki

interesting lyrics, no?

confinement's over, alot of hellish things have happened, and i'm not the person i was 10 days ago. unfortunately, i won't be able to divulge all the controversial incidents of the past 1.5 weeks or so, coz i'm bound by the Police Force Act now (zzzzzz). really, the PFA is quite outrageous. you can't even own a blog, and you're not supposed to make public any opinions you have about the force. geez. anyways, i'm kinda ambivalent about next week. on one hand, weapons training is gonna be fun, coz we'll be having dry practice followed by the 1st Frame (Live shoot) at Toa Payoh Range. and of course, basic defensive tactics, which i initially abhorred, but subsequently developed an interest in. on the other hand, we have to go for the lifesaving course, and it doesn't help that i'm in cat C for swimming (i.e. noob). zzz.

that aside, my ayumi CDs arrived during my confinement week! yes, all of them- A Song for XX, LOVEppears, Duty, I Am... and Rainbow. spent about $250 or so on them. together with My Story, these 5 new additions will complete my collection of ayumi CDs. seems that it's quite worthwhile to order CDs from her fansite? i received quite a few limitied edition posters along with the CDs. and there's one semi-nude (lol?) poster of her too? makes it all the more worthwhile? lol. kidding

well..hope everyone enjoys their weekend.. i know i'm gonna enjoy mine. i'm so not looking forward to booking in zzzz. yea, and don't worry too much bout the results guys..sigh

?

nothing much to say. i can't think or express my thoughts coherently nowadays. must be the NS, my brain's been vegetating ever since i was enlisted. i've kinda lost contact with the outside world, since i spend 5 days a week in camp, and the other 2 are spent going out or gaming. bah, prep course is finally over. come tuesday my basic training course'll start. 3 months to go.. and then its POP in April. i seriously hope i don't get posted back to TRACOM. seriously, TRACOM is not a good place to work in. FIs are bloody inefficient, they can't even agree on the most fundamental issues. you do something uder the orders of one FI, and you get screwed by another FI cause to him what you're doing is "wrong". wtf la.zzz. moreover, there are really pretty FEW FIs that are truly respectable (or that i truly respect. does it make much of a difference? lol). most of them are fuckers, like adam, kelvin, and there's already 2 mat FIs i can think of WHOSE FACES I BLOODY WANNA PUNCH THE LIFE OUT OF WHEN I FUCKING SEE THEM.

that aside, i've been contemplating lately about my impending result slip. wonder if i'll screw up or make it. whatever the outcome, i'm never gonna sign on man, lol. (sorry if i offended anyone.)

(then again, it's my blog, i can say anything i want.LOL)

talk about new year countdowns and celebrations. i had OB (orderly barracks) duty on friday, which meant that i couldn't book out on friday.zzz. instead, me and another bunkmate had to "guard" our company (ie. sit in the OB office, stone, stare at the walls) for the whole day? all the way till 8am on the 1st. sure was a great start to the year 2005.

so i guess its time to make those cliche new years' resolutions again..lol. hmmm. lets see. i guess all i want for this year would be for NS to proceed on smoothly. yea, and i'll resolve to lose 10kg by the end of BMT. actually i've lost 5kg already (after 2 weeks of prep course.. not bad eh?) lol.

oh, and to 3 particular FIs, namely,

1) a malay FI from 117th intake, shouts commands everyday during flag raising
2) one xialan chinese FI from 117th intake also and
3) FI Adam:

May the 3 of you burn in hell. Amen.
